i got my econs test back.. passed it.. but was poorly done.. i was practically last in class and that UPSETS me alot... but look on the bright side at least i pass.. anyway, fatimah " tried" to console me which i find very irritating. it kind of pissed me off for awhile.. it wasn't like i was crying or anything and she say its oklah.. the next time set a passing goal for yourself and if u do very well take it as a bonus.. that way you won't feel disappointed... and i was like what the kamehameha ah...
the rest of the day was ok.. gp was very interesting today.. we watched a video on law, crime and punishment. its about this guy who is facing a death sentence and so on about the story.. then the teacher mentioned about capital punishment and what do we think about it and so forth. Capital punishment is for very serious crimes.. it serves as a form of deterrance so that others will not commit the same crime.. but then again, what right do we have to take other people's life even though the person commit a crime. sometimes, this people deserves it as there are such a nuisance to the society.. the real pain is when the person is wrongly accused.. the person died for a crime he or she did not commit. the second question is whether capital punishment should be painless? i mean if u sentence someone to death to make him or her pay back for the crime they did obviously they want the criminal to suffer..
however, in some countries they use lethal injection which is quick death so that the criminal don't really suffer. in singapore, we hang them...sometimes, i feel so sad for these people.. like the james antonio guy, he doesn't have a look of a criminal. its just so sad to see this kind of situation.
thats it for now
*adios*
